What’s with all the “uh, I don’t like metalcore, so it’s shit”? Next time you write reviews, try to be really open-minded.. and don’t pretend to be. 40 years ago, many people would’ve probably hated metal as you love it as well. News-flash, music is an evolution. And if those new genres don’t satisfy you, then don’t listen to them. In my opinion, Parkway Drive is quite an epic band. And “posers” are everywhere. “Look at me, I have a black t-shirt, a black pants and combats, now I’m metal” Not.
Probably I fit perfectly in your description of what a poser is, but whatever.. as a matter of fact, I listen to all sorts of metal. For example, I can enjoy listening to Iron Maiden, but also by listening to bands like Alestorm or Lamb Of God. If you like it, so be it. If you hate it, so be it. Respect eachother and eachother’s opinion.
